A typical HVAC maintenance service includes:

  1. Inspecting and cleaning the condenser and evaporator coils.

  6. Cleaning and inspecting the blower motor and fan.
  7. Checking and calibrating the thermostat.
  8. Inspecting and cleaning the condensate drain.

You should replace the air filter in your HVAC system every 1 to 3 months. The exact frequency depends on factors such as the type of filter, your home's air quality, the presence of pets, and how often you use your system. Homes with pets or allergy sufferers may need more frequent replacements. Regularly replacing the air filter ensures efficient system performance, reduces energy costs, and maintains good indoor air quality by trapping dust, pollen, and other contaminants.
