- Leaks – If you see water on the floor under the tank, call us as soon as possible. It may have already done significant damage if you didn’t catch it in time. Water leaks can be caused by aged or bad tank fittings, a pressure overflow pipe, metal expansions over the years,
- Rust – If your water tastes or shows signs of rust, it’s difficult to know if it’s from your water heater or your pipes. When you see rust on the tank’s exterior, it’s a good bet it’s rusty on the inside, too. Your plumbing professional can tell you the source of the problem, but the fix is often a water heater upgrade.
